Cheesemakers.com Has a New Look
Cheesemakers has been producing high-quality, authentic cheeses since 1997. In an effort to stay current and fresh, we believed that it was time for a few changes! We now have new logos and a new website.
Our dedication to producing fresh, delicious cheeses will never change, but we have officially rebranded and are changing our marketing strategy. We hope you like our new look!
New Look, Same Texas Roots
While we wanted to rebrand and stay current, it was very important to us to keep our Texas roots present in our branding. Cheesemakers was founded in Montgomery County, and the Cheesemakers facility has remained there ever since. Considering that Montgomery County was the birthplace of the Texas flag, we wanted to make sure that the Texas flag remained present in our new and improved logo.
We are incredibly proud to be a Texas based company, and Cheesemakers is even a proud recipient of an award citing our company as one of the founding members of Go Texan. Go Texan promotes the products, culture and communities that call Texas home.
Forever a Family Company
Another aspect of our brand that we wanted to remain intact was the representation of our family in our branding. Cheesemakers is a family company with deep roots in dairy production. Cheesemakers founder, James C. Keliehor grew up making dairy products on the family farm and went on to found the company with the help of his mother and grandmother.
Our two lines of authentic cheeses each feature one of James’ twin children. The logo for our Jaimito Cheese line features an updated version of our old logo that includes James’ son, James Jr. (Jaimito) wearing a sombrero and a cow. Our line of Lonestar Chevre is named after James’ daughter, who he fondly refers to as his Little Miss Lonestar. The updated logo for Lonestar Chevre still features a photo of Little Miss Lonestar and a goat that she was fond of as a child. You can learn more about our authentic, Texas cheeses on our Cheese page and you can find recipes to use as inspiration on our Recipe page.
Texas Based, Available Everywhere
While we have rebranded, we are still the same Texas company that you can rely on for delicious, natural cheese products. If you are interested in trying our cheeses, you can request a free sample kit, or you can find our products on DOT. By having our cheeses available through DOT, we have nationwide distribution and the capability to complete large orders for nationwide chains. Our company promise is that when you order with Cheesemakers, you will never run out of cheese.
